Alajuela: the unknown beauty!

Though it is not particularly popular as a tourist attraction, Alajuela is a province which offers both locals and travelers a wonderful glimpse of a quieter Costa Rican town. Located about 20 km northwest of San Jose, Alajuela is actually the country’s second largest city in terms of size (as well as in beauty).
